All guests (ages 3 and up) must have a timed ticket to enter the Garden.Immediate entry is not guaranteed to those who walk up and purchase tickets. Timed tickets help the Garden maintain a safe capacity to allow for social distancing. Individuals who are aggressive toward staff or other guests will be escorted off the property. The Garden will not tolerate inappropriate behavior, including, but not limited to, yelling, violence, intimidation, threats, harassment, aggression, swearing, damage, abuse, or sexual harassment.Please respect the Garden’s staff and your fellow guests: Adults may not wear bathing suits inside the Garden at any time.Children may only wear bathing suits in the Children’s Garden splash pad.Shoes and shirts are required at all times (comfortable shoes for walking are recommended).Attire that is considered inappropriate or could detract for the experience of other guests is prohibited (including excessively revealing clothing, clothing with profanity, objectionable language or graphics).Dress for an outdoor, walking experience: The Garden is a family-friendly environment. Please turn in any recovered items to a Security officer at the Hardin Visitor Center information window or to a staff person at an Admission booth. ![]() The Garden cannot be held responsible for missing items. Keep your personal items with you at all times.All trash is sorted for recycling off-site. Dispose of waste and recyclables in trash receptacles.Please do not allow service animals to defecate or urinate in the Garden. ![]() Pets are not allowed inside the Garden.Do not wade or swim in ponds or fountains.Do not collect or remove seeds, flowers, fruits and vegetables, plant labels, etc., or touch or handle plants or special exhibits (other than in designated areas of the Children’s Garden).Use caution on stairs and wet surfaces, which can become slippery during watering.Climbing on walls, exhibits and other structures (other than Children’s Garden play structures designated for that purpose) is prohibited.Children must be supervised at all times.Do not block pathways or access for other visitors. Stay on designated pathways at all times.Rice, birdseed and flower petals (for Garden wedding guidelines, contact the Events department)įor your safety and the care of the Garden’s collections:.Portable music players without headphones and musical instruments.Bicycles, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards, hover boards, Segways, remote controlled vehicles and drones.Sports equipment, including footballs, baseballs, soccer balls and Frisbees. ![]()
